The Hydrographic Society of America Inc. (THSOA) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting education in hydrography, inshore surveying, inland waters surveying, offshore surveying, positioning and mapping/charting, including related earth sciences.
One way in which this organization realizes its mission of increasing education and relevancy within these fields is with its annual US Hydro Conference. This year's conference will be held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi from March 18 to March 21, 2019.
The theme of the event is "Our Changing Oceans and Coasts: Driving Innovation in Charting", featuring keynote speakers Rear Admiral Shepard Smith [Director, Office of Coast Survey, NOAA] and Rear Admiral John A. Okon [Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, Oceanographer and Navigator of the US Navy].
Workshops will be held on March 18, 2019. Technical sessions will take place March 19 - 21, 2019. Learn more about the US Hydro 2019 Conference, including registration and agenda, here.
